Our New Website is Live!

May 5, 2026

Welcome to the new painontario.ca.

We rebuilt the site with one question in mind: would this be useful on a hard day? On a flare day, in a waiting room, after a long shift, would someone actually find what they came for without it taking too much energy?

A few things you'll notice:

  • A library of pain resources, sorted by who you are. Tell us if you live with pain, you're a caregiver, you work in healthcare, or you're working on policy and change. Over 160 resources are tagged this way, so the ones that fit your situation are a couple of clicks away.
  • An Ontario pain news page. New research, court decisions, programs, and accessibility news, collected in one place.
  • Easier ways to take action. A simpler path to email your MPP, our briefings, and a streamlined support page.
  • A dark mode, on request. A button in the bottom-right of every page. Tap it once for a softer dark palette, easier on light-sensitive eyes and easier on a phone in bed. The site remembers your choice. Light is the default; dark only happens when you ask for it.
  • Ways to come back to where you were. A back arrow and a small link on every sub-page, plus a scroll-to-top button.

Tell us if anything's in the way

If anything on the new site is making your day harder, like text that is too small, contrast that is too low, or a button you cannot find, please email us. We can fix it. That is the only way we know what's actually working.
